1. Daily Maintenance of Vertical Machining Center

• Check liquid level of oil cooler, water tank, hydro station and lubrication pump

• Check tool clamp , unclamp and tool position manually

• Check each feeding axis travels to limit once with lubrication and if has any noise

• Check cleaness in and outside of machine, remove chips in time

• Check if lubrication, cooling and chip conveyor work in good condition

• Check spindle blow off and air curtain protection, keep clean for spindle bore and tool shank

2. Weekly Maintenance of Vertical Machining Center

• Check if there is any water in air filter, drain in time

• Check Clean or change filters in controller, heat exchanger, oil cooler and air conditioner

• Check hydro pressure and if hydro connectors are fastened enough securely

3. Monthly Maintenance of Vertical Machining Center

• Lubricate tool exchanger and pins periodically

• Keep electric cabinet clean and dry inside  

• Check fastening and lubrication of chip conveyor, chanins, bearings and retarders

4. Quarterly Maintenance of Vertical Machining Center

• Remove protection cover of feed in axes, clean chips and check lubrication points

• Check worktable, machine leveling, adjust when necessary

• Clean water tank and filters , change coolant when necessary

• Check pollution in hydro tank, oilcooler and transmission tank, change when necessary

5. Annual Maintenance of Vertical Machining Center

• Check servo motor and coupling connections

• Check spindle belt tension , change when necessary

• Change lubrication for ATC cam box , rotary table and exchange pallets

• Complete inspection of the entire machine, including all mechanical and electrical components. Replace worn or outdated parts to keep them working efficiently.

• Check for any available updates for control software and firmware, Keeping these up to date ensures compatibility with new features and improves performance.

6. General Tips

• Training : Ensure that all operators are trained in proper machine operation and maintenance procedures. Follow safety guidelines strictly.

• Safety :    It is forbidden to use air gun for these above maintenace job. It must wear safety rope and helmet when working in the high position.

• Keep Records:  Maintain a logbook of all maintenance activities, including inspections, replacements, and repairs. This will help track the machine's condition and predict future maintenance needs.
